We had an incredible stay, albeit short, in Luray. Our kids have been excited to see the caverns for quite sometime, so we took the opportunity to drive out from DC to explore. The home was clean, Cindy was super helpful, and the location is perfect. The Flynn was a great size for the four of us and the backyard was huge to blow off some kid energy :). The beds were so comfy and the configuration of the rooms are great for older siblings in one, and parents in the other! I am grateful for the time Cindy took to answer some questions and the love, sweat and tears they put into renovating this beautiful home! Rachel September 2023
We had a great time staying at Cindy’s. Everything was even better than pictured. My daughter, 2, loved the house and I felt she was very safe there. Her grandparents also loved it and were extremely happy. The house is on Main St and we all loved walking to the shops a block away. Would definitely stay again if I ever go back to Luray. Fantastic Home. What a great place! Large rooms, handicapped accessible to include ramps if needed, beautifully remodeled, located in town, the local bakery is located just across the street, and an awesome locking/code/access system. This house was perfect and the location was amazing. It is along the Main Street and there are lots of cute shops and coffee shops to visit within walking distance. There was also a nice paved trail nearby with beautiful murals to see along the path. It’s not far from the Luray Caverns and Shenandoah Valley National Park. This was a great place to stay. Although we didn’t get to stay long, we enjoyed the comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Easy for large groups to travel and spend time together. The downtown area was close and nice to walk around. There was a great coffee shop nearby and River walk/trail. Phillip Oct. 2022
Cindy is a very communicative host, and we had a great stay in Unit B! Very close to downtown shops and restaurants, and very cute décor. The home was very clean, and we were very happy that there weren’t tons of air fresheners in every room like many air bnb’s that we have stayed in before. The sofa is a little soft, but there are other seating options, and the kitchen is well equipped with every pot/pan size you could need for a vacation stay, but they are all non-stick if that matters to you. We spent the weekend at Cindy’s place for a girls trip. The space was super cute and cozy. Great kitchen accessories and utensils. She had very simple and organized check in and check out instructions. Would absolutely stay here again. Rosemarie March 2021
Centrally located in Luray – everything looks new/updated including a fully equipped kitchen. The place was clean, had enough work spaces for our 2 kids who were able to do their schoolwork (remote learning), and the technology was much appreciated (smart tv with decent wifi-speed for all of our tablets, laptops, phones, etc.). On top of it all, Cindy was very proactive in sharing all the ins-outs of checking out fall foliage as well as the local scenes with her binder that she leaves in the place. My husband and I spent 2 weeks at Briar Laine House Appartment B – a mix of work and play. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Luray is a gem in the Shenandoah Valley, just 20 minutes to all sorts of trails. We also enjoyed the Hawksbill Greenway right in town, walked it quite a few times in the evenings. The apartment worked out great for us: new, sparkling clean, enough room to be able to spread out a bit, a superbly equipped kitchen (I cooked almost all the meals there) high speed Wifi which was great when we had to work, walking distance to restaurants, shops, a movie theater. My husband and I visited this spot for our anniversary. The house was clean, well kept, and perfectly situated near all the local restaurants and little shops in town. It is also very close to local vineyards and scenic mountain trails. I highly recommend this condo to anyone wishing to spend a quiet vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The home was modern with a rustic touch, and Cindy was a great host (leaving us snacks and a cute note congratulating us on our anniversary). I would definitely stay here again. Shakeelah Aug. 2020

Home away from home is what I think after our stay there….very clean and worked for our group of 8 adults and 2 kids…the host was very friendly and accommodating.

We had four adults in the house and we all loved staying at Briar Laine. ( We rented Unit A) The house is beautiful, clean, and has a lot of space!!
You can get to the river quickly but were close to a grocery store and restaurants. Cindy, the owner, was great to work with… very responsive! We can’t wait to go back next year!! Leilani July 2020

This is a great place to stay if you are hiking in area or visiting the caverns. The renovations are beautiful and we immediately noticed the high quality of the appliances and decor!
